How long does Microblading last? The treatment is considered semi-permanent and will not wash off, however, it will fade over time and may need a follow up every 1-2 years. Frequency of follow ups depends on a number of factors including: the pigment color used (lighter colors fade faster), lifestyle (sun exposure, sweat), iron deficiency (your body absorbs iron-oxide as a supplement), and if any chemical peels and strong skincare come into contact with treated areas. Please note that final results cannot be guaranteed as each unique skin type will hold pigments differently and break down at different rates. The tattooed hair strokes tend to have a more crisp look once healed on dry skin compared to more blurry strokes on oily skin. Your artist will re-evaluate how your skin has retained the pigment at your follow up appointment and make any changes necessary. Follow ups are normal for cosmetic tattoo procedures, with each new procedure requiring 2 visits. The initial procedure is followed by a follow up procedure if needed about 6-8 weeks later.

What should I do before my appointment?- If you normally get your eyebrows waxed or threaded to maintain the shape, you may get them shaped 3 days prior to your microblading appointment. - If you would like your artist to use as much hair as possible, you may let your eyebrows grow until your microblading appointment. Your artist will pluck any stray hairs that you wish to remove after the mapping of your new eyebrows. - Avoid tanning two weeks prior to your microblading appointment. - If you are on antibiotics, email your artist at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to reschedule. You must have been done with your antibiotics for at least 2 weeks to safely get a cosmetic tattoo. - Do NOT come to your microblading appointment with a sunburn on your forehead or flaking skin around your eyebrows. In this case, email your artist at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to reschedule. - Avoid chemical peels at least 4 weeks prior to your microblading appointment. - All facials & skin treatments must be done 4 weeks prior to your appointment or 4 weeks after your appointment. - You can get Botox & fillers 4 weeks prior to your appointment or 4 weeks after your appointment. - You MUST stop using Retinol 2 weeks prior to your appointment. - Avoid alcohol, ibuprofen or any medication that thins the blood 24 hours prior to your microblading appointment. **Every client’s skin responds differently to these treatments, and this information acts as a guideline only**

Immediately After- Immediately following your procedure, the tattooed area will appear to be darker and bolder in color and more sharply defined. This will last 3-4 days. Do not panic! It is normal. - Swelling and redness is minimal with most clients, and will disappear within 24-48 hours. In some cases, it may last around the eyebrow area for up to 3 days, but will not prevent working or socializing. The treated area may feel a bit like a sunburn afterwards but there should only be minimal discomfort. - You may shower or bathe normally, but avoid using any soaps or cleansers on the treated area for the first week as they can be detrimental to the bonding process that must take place for the pigment to stabilize in the dermis. - Wash your hands thoroughly before touching the tattooed area. - Keep the tattooed area clean by rinsing with lukewarm water and patting dry with a disposable paper towel 3 times a day for the first week. Keep cleaning them with lukewarm water twice a day for the second week. - Avoid any kind of moisturizer, oil and Vaseline for the first two weeks. Only apply a very small amount of the provided ointment in the morning after cleaning the eyebrows with warm water. Apply using a disposable cotton swab. The goal is to have your tattoo flake off naturally, rather than form into large scabs. You may use the ointment for the first 7 days. - You must avoid working out for 5-7 days following your cosmetic tattoo appointment. Light exercising is allowed (minimal sweating), but you MUST clean the tattooed area with lukewarm water as soon as you are done exercising. The salt in the sweat will fade the pigment very quickly and give poor results. - Avoid direct sun exposure for the first 14 days. You MUST wear a hat while outside during the healing process. - Do NOT pick or scratch at the dry skin/flakiness; let the skin fall off naturally. Picking can cause scarring and premature loss of pigment. IMPORTANT: Once the flakes have fallen off, a shiny layer of healing skin will completely cover the hair strokes. It will appear as though the eyebrows are gone. Within 1-2 weeks, the hair strokes will slowly reappear at a lighter shade as your skin regenerates. - Do NOT apply make-up to the tattooed area for the first 2 weeks. Chemicals of any kind may interfere with the healing and color of your tattoo. - Once the treated area is completely healed, any changes or additions that need to be made can be done at your follow-up appointment. - The complete healing process takes about 6-8 weeks, at which time the true color of the tattoo is evident. During this process, your tattoo will soften and lighten. Be patient, even if you think too much color has been lost, as your skin is still regenerating and naturally exfoliating. Wait at least 6 weeks to see the true color, as it seems to take on new strength, and it is only after 6 weeks that your touch-up/adjustment can be done. Keep in mind that microbladed brows healed up to 30% softer than the initial color. ONCE HEALED: - Exposure to the sun over time can cause fading and discoloration of the pigment. Once completely healed, you may apply sunscreen on the treated area. Wear large sunglasses and a hat for further protection. Rinse and dry the area thoroughly when in contact with chlorine. - Glycolic Acid, retin-a, face peels and exfoliation must be kept away from the tattooed area as continued use could lighten the pigment. - If you are having laser resurfacing or laser hair removal after your tattoo has healed, please inform the laser technician. Laser procedures may darken, lighten, or discolor the tattooed area.

What are lash extensions??Eyelash Extensions are a popular new service and product that lengthens and thickens your own natural eyelashes. They are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to each individual natural eyelash one by one for a natural, beautiful and luscious look. Eyelash extensions are perfect for special occasions or for day to day wear in order to save all the time of curling and mascara.
-
What do eyelash extensions look like when applied? With proper application, meaning one synthetic eyelash applied to one natural lash, the look and feel is completely natural looking and real. They will just think you were born with beautiful, long lashes.
-
How long will a set of eyelash extension last? When applied properly, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Everyone’s experience will differ based on day to day activities but over all touchups should only be required every 2 to 4 weeks. A special waterproof bonding agent is used.
-

No, extensions properly applied by a licensed trained technician does not. Our eyelash extension application techniques and innovative aftercare ensures your lash health.
-
Can I use eyelash growth products with my extensions?Lash growth products that contain steroids change the composition of your lashes and accelerate your eyelash shedding cycle, therefore we cannot guarantee the outcome. Natural lash growth products containing peptides are wonderful and will have no adverse effect on the longevity of your extensions.
-
Will I still need to use mascara? No, you will not need to use mascara with your lash extensions, but for nights that you want extra drama you can use a water-based mascara and apply it from the middle to the top and not the base. Be sure to properly cleanse your lashes afterwards!

What is Automated Micro-Needling?Automated micro-needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for treating the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of the skin’s overall appearance. During this procedure, the micro pen is used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. Automated micro-needling also creates superficial micro-channels through which topical gels, creams and serums can be penetrated deeper into the dermis to help improve the appearance of the skin.
-
What are the benefits?Micro-needling can significantly reduce and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, acne scars, traumatic scars and stretch marks
-
What areas can be treated? The micro pen can be used on all parts of the body, including the: face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back.
-
How is the procedure done?Initially, your skin care professional will apply topical lidocaine to numb the skin and ensure a comfortable and pain-free treatment. Then, a thin layer of topical gel is applied and the pen is gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in one direction until the entire treatment area has been covered.
-
How long does the procedure take? The procedure takes 30-45 minutes depending on the size of the area treated.
-
What is the downtime?Immediately after the treatment you will notice a bright redness to the skin. The total healing time depends on the Eclipse MicroPen™ setting used and the number of overlapping passes your skin care professional performs. On average, patients are red up to 2 to 4 days. Many patients heal completely in as little as 24 hours.
-
When will I see results?Clients notice an immediate “glow” to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several days and weeks. Results can continue to improve up to 6 months after a treatment as collagen production continues.
-
How many treatments will I need? Some patients only require a single treatment once per year to achieve optimal results. However, it is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 3-4 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart. For patients with deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 6-week intervals.
-
What is dermaplaning?Dermaplaning is a quick, noninvasive, painless procedure in which surface dead skin cells are manually scraped away. Dermaplaning requires absolutely no recovery time. It increases cellular turnover, smooths and softens skin, and provides immediate results. This procedure is the most effective exfoliating procedure because it basically tricks the body into thinking it has an injury and needs to heal itself, immediately producing healthier, plump skin cells. Dermaplaning can be used on all skin colors. As an extra esthetic bonus, Dermaplaning removes the fine vellus hair on the face. This is important because this excess "peach fuzz" can trap oil and dirt which can lead to other problems with your skin. It also cause facial cleansers to be less effective. Once you scrap away the dirt, oil and dead skin cells, facial products and treatments are much more effective because they can penetrate the skin more easily.
-
How is dermaplaning performed? After cleansing, toning and degreasing the face, your skin care specialist will gently scrape away the surface layer of dirt, oil and dead skin cells with a sterile surgical scalpel. Each area of the face, except for the nose and neck, is carefully scraped until properly "cleaned". After the procedure, special clinical products designed especially for your skin type and concerns, as well as UV protection, will be applied with a gentle facial massage. You will not leave with red or irritated skin, and you are free to reapply makeup at any time.
-
Will my hair grow back dark, thicker or faster?"No, dermaplaning will not cause the vellus hair on your face to grow back any darker, thicker or faster because the procedure does not trigger hair follicles. The hair will return just as it is, usually in about two to four weeks.
-
Who is the best candidate for dermaplaning?Anyone who desires smoother, softer, healthier, more radiant skin. However, patients with active acne are not candidates for Dermaplaning.
